ALLAH - POWER & KNOWLEDGE

Infinite Power & Knowledge of Allah

(1) Allah knows real worth of all none can sanctify anyone before Allah

Bukhari Volume 8, Book 78, Number 6162:

Narrated Abu Bakra:

A man praised another man in front of the Prophet. The Prophet (s) said thrice, "Wailaka (Woe on you) you have cut the neck of your brother!" The Prophet (s) added, "If it is indispensable for anyone of you to praise a person, then he should say, "I think that such-and-such person (is so-and-so), and Allah is the one who will take his accounts (as he knows his reality) and none can sanctify anybody before Allah (and that only if he knows well about that person.)".

(2) Allah Manifests in New Glory every moment 55:29

(42) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah; "...Every day He is (engaged) in some affair (such  as giving honor to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)!" (55:29)

"Comes not unto them an admonition (a chapter from the Qur'an) from their Lord as a recent revelation, but they listen to it while they play." (21:2)

And the Statement of Allah;

"...It may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass." (65:1)

And the process of introducing new things by Allah does not resemble the process carried on by the created things, as Allah says:

"...There is nothing like Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer." (42:11)

And Ibn Mas'ud said that the Prophet (s) said, "Allah may bring forth new things in His Orders  as He will, and one of the new things He brought forth was His Order that you should not talk (to  others) while offering Salat (prayer)."

Bukhari Volume 9, Book 97, Number 7522:

Narrated 'Ikrima:

Ibn 'Abbas said, "How can you ask the people of the Scriptures about their Books while you have Allah's Book (the Qur'an) which is the most recent of the Books revealed by Allah, and you read it in its pure undistorted form?"

Bukhari Volume 9, Book 97, Number 7523:

Narrated 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah:

'Abdullah bin 'Abbas said, "O the group of Muslims! How can you ask the people of the Scriptures about anything while your Book which Allah has revealed to your Prophet contains the most recent news from Allah and is pure and not distorted? Allah has told you that the people of the Scriptures have changed some of Allah's Books and distorted it and wrote something with their own hands and said, 'This is from Allah, so as to have a minor gain for it. Won't the knowledge that has come to you stop you from asking them? No, by Allah, we have never seen a man from them asking you about that (the Book Al-Qur'an) which has been revealed to you.

(3) Glimpse of infinite power of Allah 39:67

Bukhari Volume 9, Book 97, Number 7412:

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle (s) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will grasp the whole Earth by His Hand, and all the Heavens in His right, and then He will say, 'I am the King."

"On that Allah's Apostle smiled till his premolar teeth became visible, and then recited:

'No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to him.... (39.67) 'Abdullah added: Allah's Apostle smiled (at the Jew's statement) expressing his wonder and believe in what was said.

Quran on the topic

“These people have not recognized the true worth of Allah as His worth should truly be recognized. 75 (As for His Omnipotence) the entire earth on the Day of Resurrection shall be in His grasp and the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. 76 Glorified is He and Exalted above what they associate with Him. 77” (39:67)

"On that Allah's Apostle smiled and said, "No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to Him. (39.67)

Volume 9, Page 334-335

(27) CHAPTER. What has been said regarding the creation “Takhleeq” of the heavens and the earth and other created beings “wa ghaireha min khalaiq”.

All that is the work “Fail” of the Lord and outcome of His Order “Amrohu”. So He is the Lord

With His Attributes “be Siffathu” and His Actions “wa Fa’alhu”, and His Order “wa Amrahu”; and He is the Creator and the Maker “wa Huwa Khalikal-Mukawwanu”, and He is not created “ghairo Makhluqin”. And whatever exists through His Action, Command, creating and making “wama kana be Failhu wa Amrehu wa Takhliqhu wa Takwinhu” is something done, created and made “Fahuwa Maf’olu Makhlqu Makawwan”.

(6) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah "The King of mankind." (114:2)

Bukhari Volume 9, Book 97, Number 7382:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the whole earth and fold the heaven with His right hand and say, 'I am the King: where are the kings of the earth?" '

Bukhari Volume 8, Book 81, Number 6519:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (s) said, "Allah will take the whole earth (in His Hand) and will roll up the Heaven in His right Hand, and then He will say, "I am King! Where are the kings of the earth?

Quran on the topic

“These people have not recognized the true worth of Allah as His worth should truly be recognized. 75 (As for His Omnipotence) the entire earth on the Day of Resurrection shall be in His grasp and the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. 76 Glorified is He and Exalted above what they associate with Him. 77” (39:67)

(4) Jewish Rabbi’s knowledge at time of Prophet (s)

(2) CHAPTER. The Statement of Allah, "They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him..." (39:67)

Bukhari Volume 6, Book 65, Number 4811:

Narrated 'Abdullah:

A (Jewish) Rabbi came to Allah's Apostle and he said, "O Muhammad! We learn that Allah will put all the heavens on one finger, and the earths on one finger, and the trees on one finger, and the water and the dust on one finger, and all the other created beings on one finger. Then He will say, 'I am the King.' Thereupon the Prophet smiled so that his pre-molar teeth became visible, and that was the confirmation of the Rabbi. Then Allah's Apostle recited:

'No just estimate have they made of Allah such as due to Him.' (39.67)

Quran on the topic

“These people have not recognized the true worth of Allah as His worth should truly be recognized. 75 (As for His Omnipotence) the entire earth on the Day of Resurrection shall be in His grasp and the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. 76 Glorified is He and Exalted above what they associate with Him. 77” (39:67)

(5) Infinite Knowledge of the Creator

Beyond creation’s faculties of perception unless willed by Allah

(4) CHAPTER. The Statements of Allah "(He Alone is) the All-Knower of the Unseen “Ghaib”, and He reveals to none His Unseen. “Ghaib”, (72:26)

And: "Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour..." (31:34)

And: "...He has sent it (the Qur'an) down with His Knowledge..." (35:11)

And: ..."And no female conceives or gives birth, but with His Knowledge..." (35:11)

And: "To Him (Alone) is referred the knowledge of the Hour." (41:47)

And Yahya said, "Allah has knowledge of everything, whether apparent or hidden (perceivable by human being or not)

Bukhari Volume 9, Book 97, Number 7379:

Narrated Ibn Umar:

The Prophet (s) said, "The keys of the unseen are five and none knows them but Allah: (1) None knows what is in the womb, but Allah: (Note A) (2) None knows what will happen tomorrow, but Allah; (3) None knows when it will rain, but Allah; (4) None knows where he will die, but Allah (knows that); (5) and none knows when the Hour will be established, but Allah."

Note A: if science today can tell what is in the womb, male or female but none knows what character and many other details about that, only known to The Creator. After the discovery of DNA etc. scientists should rather start to know the Reality of The Creator becoming so vivid with advancement of science though it is yet in its embryonic stages of the gigantic complexities of Real Knowledge. Following Quranic Ayah and many such Ayahs are worth pondering in this regard.

Statement of a modern day embryologist Keith L Moor is worth watching here.

Quran on the topic

MAUDUDI:Soon shall We show them Our Signs in the World around them, as well as in themselves, till it becomes clear to them, that this Qur'an is indeed the Truth. 70 Is it not enough that your Lord watches everything? 71” (41:53)

MUHAMMAD ASAD: In time We shall make them fully understand (Note 49) Our messages [through what they perceive] in the utmost horizons [of the universe] and within themselves, (Note 50) so that it will become clear unto them that this [revelation] is indeed the truth [Still,] is it not enough [for them to know] that thy Sustainer is witness unto everything? (Note 51)
MAUDUDI:Look! These people are in doubt about the meeting with their Lord. 72 Listen! He encompasses everything! 73” (41:54)

Note 49: Lit., "We will show them" or "make them see".

Note 50: I.e., through a progressive deepening and widening of their insight into the wonders of the universe as well as through a deeper understanding of man's own psyche (and physical makeup) - all of which points  to the existence of a conscious Creator.

Note 51: I.e. that He is almighty and all-seeing: a fundamental truth which, by itself, should be enough to remind man of his responsibility before Him.
