Somebody asked
Al-Bar-a bin 'Azib, "Did you flee deserting Allah's Apostle (s) during the
battle of Hunain?" Al-Bara replied, "But Allah's Apostle (s) did not
flee. The people of the Tribe of Hawazin were good archers. When we met them,
we attacked them, and they fled. When the Muslims started collecting the war
booty, the pagans faced us with arrows, but Allah's Apostle (s) did not flee.
No doubt, I saw him on his white mule and Abu Sufyan was holding its reins and
the Prophet (s) was saying, 'I am the Prophet (s) in truth: I am the son of
'Abdul Muttalib.' "

Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet ..." (49:2)
Bukhari Volume 6, Book 65, Number 4846:
Narrated Anas
bin Malik:
The Prophet (s)
missed Thabit bin Qais for a period (So he inquired about him). A man said.
"O Allah's Apostle (s)! I will bring you his news." So he went to
Thabit and found him sitting in his house and bowing his head. The man said to
Thabit, "What is the matter with you?" Thabit replied that it was an
evil affair, for he used to raise his voice above the voice of the Prophet (s)
and so all his good deeds had been annulled, and he considered himself as one
of the people of the Fire. Then the man returned to the Prophet (s) and told
him that Thabit had said so-and-so. (Musa bin Anas) said: The man returned to
Thabit with great glad tidings. The Prophet (s) said to the man. "Go back
to him and say to him: "You are not from the people of the Hell Fire, but
from the people of Paradise."

"Yes, I did it intentionally so that the ignorant ones like you might see

Once Hassaan

the fact that I have common descent with them?" Hassaan replied, "I
shall take you out of them as a hair is taken out of dough."
Narrated 'Urwa: I started abusing Hassaan in front of 'Aisha, whereupon she said. "Don't abuse him, for he used to defend the Prophet (with his poetry)."
