UMMUL MOMINEEN
General: -Biography has certain pattern and principal which must be followed (reference given heading applicable to all (will send by e-mail before exam) it is a science in it self which forms the basis of modern history. (Must owe thanks to Islamic scholars, Ibn-e- Khaldoon is taken as the pioneer even by the orientelists)
1. Accuracy in factual facts e.g. age, tribe, death, etc.
2. Coherence, cover the life in a sequence as the person is growing. Importance of Chronology.
3. Must avoid controversial topics or be logically accurate.
4. In most of the cases get the habit of writing these words, “according to some authentic sources - as some scholars have noted down - as per some authentic books, e.g. like in case of the marriage of Ayesha you should use one of the above caption before giving her age at the time of marriage, age at the time of the death of the Prophet (s) and her age at the time of the death.
